A. Personal Information (Account Data)
When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect:
- Name and Email Address
- Unique Google Identifiers
- Profile Picture (if provided)
Purpose: To manage your premium subscription status and identify your account across devices.
This data is stored securely in Google's Firebase Firestore.
B. Financial Transaction Data (Local Storage)
Your financial data stays on your device.
- Nature of Data: All income, expenses, categories, notes, and budget entries you input.
- Storage Location: Stored locally on your device's internal database.
- Our Access: We do NOT have access to your financial transactions.
- Server Upload: Your financial data is never uploaded to our servers.
- Backups: If you enable Google Drive backup, the data is stored directly in your own private Google Drive.
This local-first design ensures your financial data remains private and under your full control.
C. Sensitive Personal Information
- Biometrics: App Lock uses your device’s fingerprint/face authentication. We never collect biometric templates.
- Precise Location: We do not collect GPS data. Coarse location may be derived from IP address by advertising partners.
D. Media and Files
- The App may access device storage for database backup.
- The App may access your gallery for profile picture selection.
3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We use third-party services to operate and improve the app. These services may collect device identifiers or IP addresses.
- Google AdMob: Used to display ads and analytics.
- Firebase Analytics: Used to monitor performance and engagement.
- Google Play Services: Used for authentication and infrastructure.
- Google Drive API: Used to backup and restore app database.
4. GDPR Compliance (For EEA Users)
- Right to Access / Erasure: Users can view or delete their data from the Profile screen.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Users can manage ad preferences from Privacy Options.
- Legal Basis: Processing is necessary for subscription management and improving the app.
5. CCPA / CPRA Compliance (For California Residents)
- Right to Know: Users may request categories of collected data.
- Right to Delete: Account and Firestore data can be deleted using the Delete Account option.
- Notice of Sharing: We do not sell personal data. Identifiers may be shared with AdMob for advertising.
- Opt-Out: Users may disable personalized ads in the app settings.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
- Local Data: Stored on your device until the app is removed or data cleared.
- Account Data: Stored in Firestore while the account is active. Deleting the account permanently removes associated data.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
